2. Description of Service

NextGen OCR provides optical character recognition (OCR) technology that extracts text from images. The Service is offered in multiple tiers: a free browser‑based tier, a registered member tier, and a paid Pro tier. Features and usage limits vary by tier.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your authentication credentials. You agree to provide accurate email information and to not share your account with others. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Upload images containing malicious code, malware, or content that infringes third‑party rights.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access paid features without authorization.
• Overload, flood, or disrupt the Service or its servers.

5. Intellectual Property

The OCR engine and related technology are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You retain all rights to the images you upload. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6. Payments and Refunds

Pro tier subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are provided on a case‑by‑case basis at our discretion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of OCR results or uninterrupted availability of the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall NextGen OCR be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the preceding 12 months.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
